about
📱 I'm a product-minded software engineer focused on building user interfaces and thoughtful product experiences across iOS, macOS, and the web. I work primarily with Swift, SwiftUI, React, Next.js, and TypeScript, and I'm currently exploring opportunities to build polished, consumer-facing products.
💼 Most recently, I spent more than three years as a software engineer at Apple. I built full-stack tools for Hardware Engineering using React, Next.js, GraphQL, Python, and PostgreSQL. I also joined Apple's AIML organization for an internal rotation, where I contributed to the Create ML app for macOS using Swift and SwiftUI.
Before Apple, I co-founded OpenMeal, a nonprofit platform that raised more than $30,000 and helped provide over 3,000 meals to people financially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic through partnerships with local restaurants.
🎓 I graduated from Columbia University in New York City in 2019 with a B.A. in Computer Science. I'm Korean-Canadian and have lived, studied, and worked in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
🛠️ I love building things! Whether it's software, spreadsheets, or custom mechanical keyboards, I'm always tinkering with something. I'm particularly passionate about solving problems and creating thoughtful user experiences.
🏃🏻 When I'm not coding, you can find me training for marathons—currently the 2026 BMW Berlin Marathon—trying new indie games, or jamming out to everything from '80s and '90s rock to drum & bass and K-pop.
I enjoy learning new things, traveling around the world, trying cuisines from different cultures, and building software with great people :)
